Yoga Lounge

Yoga encompasses physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that originated in India. We offer students a relaxed, calm escape from hectic study.

Yoga lounge

The yoga lounge is open for all levels. It's a really relaxed and fun environment. Bring your own yoga mat or most people just use the carpet.

**A one-off $15 membership fee gives you access to the whole Yoga Lounge package all semester. It includes :

 

Mondays 5pm - Yoga + Kirtan
On campus in the Student Union Building 217 & 218
Free for members
45mins of Vinyasa Flow style Yoga, Kirtan (mantra music meditation) an introduction to the power of sound vibration, followed by vegetarian food sponsored by Krishna Food

Thursdays 5-6pm Yoga workshop.
On campus in the Student Union Building 217
Free for members
Yogalosophy. These nights will provide a friendly relaxing atmosphere and include talks, tips and timeless yoga knowledge to assist all of us living in this busy world. We will discuss how to remain sane while juggling so many aspects of our lives, followed by vegetarian food sponsored by Krishna Food

Tuesdays & Wednesdays 5pm Yoga + Workshop/Kirtan
Off campus at Bhakti Lounge 175 Vivian St, level 1, above Mr Rentals
$5 per class for members (ie have already paid the membership fee)
45mins of Vinyasa Flow style Yoga, then either a Workshop on the Tuesdays (you can look atbhaktilounge.org.nz for what theme workshop is running) or Kirtan (mantra music meditation) on Wednesdays, followed by vegetarian dinner :)
