Clubs & Societies

Joining a club is one of the best ways to enjoy your time as a student at Victoria. Clubs are an excellent way to make friends, enjoy activities, and learn things you will never learn in a lecture theater.

Involvement with a club not only brings personal satisfaction but also the chance to develop very useful organisational skills. Employers often look at extra curricular activities as an important gauge of a students interpersonal, organisational, problem solving, and time management abilities.

VUWSA is the umbrella under which clubs and societies operate. VUWSA supports clubs and societies because they enable students to get much more out of University life than study alone can provide. VUWSA provides grants, training, facilities, resources, recognition and assistance whenever they are needed.

There are over 80 clubs on campus. Check out our Clubs and Societies Directory to see what clubs are available and find out how to become a member.
