Involvement in a club is one of the best ways to enjoy your time as a student at Victoria University. Clubs are an excellent way to make friends, enjoy activities, and learn things you will never learn in a lecture theatre.

Involvement with a club not only brings personal satisfaction but also the chance to develop very useful organisational skills.

The Students Association is the umbrella under which the clubs operate. VUWSA supports clubs because they enable students to get much more out of university life than study alone can provide.

It provides grants, training, facilities, resources, recognition and assistance whenever they are needed.

The information in this handbook will help you to set up and run your club. Read it carefully, and then keep a copy for future reference.
