Victoria University of Wellington Students' Association

VicIDS is an open platform which invites people to be educated, motivated and challenged on global development issues. We are run by students and open to the wider community. Our mission is to promote universal and unrestricted access to information and ideas concerning development issues, through partnerships with institutions and organisations both locally and globally. We are a part of the U8 Global Student Partnership which is an international network of universities that promotes unbounded, sustained discussion, enabling the sharing of ideas for a positive impact in the least developed parts of the world. VicIDS holds weekly meetings consisting predominantly of seminars, workshops and documentary screenings relevant to global development. For information on past and future events see www.vicids.org.nz
