Sailing is a fun and social sport on and off the water and the Sailing Club values these aspects of the sport. We are keen for new members who would like to learn how to sail, as well as experienced sailors with the opportunity of either keel boat and/or dinghy sailing. The Uni Games are a main focus of the club which involves Teams Racing in 420 dinghies, a challenging competition both mentally and physically. Competent sailors are able to participate in this exciting competition which involves three boats from each team out manoeuvring the opposition. The club members enjoy socializing after a day or early evening on the water so make the most of Wellington's beautiful harbour and come and join the fun!
