Mount Street Bar and Café

The Mount St Bar and Café is a popular hangout during the day with students, located on level 1 of the Student Union Building. You can chill out and watch Sky TV before and after class, as well enjoy the live entertainment brought to you every Thursday by The VBC 88.3FM. Come in and check out the drink specials at the bar, snacks and lively staff and patrons. You can get a coffee, breakfast, lunch and evening meals from the café.

Hours: Weekdays, 9am – 4pm (Café) and weekdays 12noon-late (Bar)

Basement

NMP Cafe provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, cold drinks and coffee. It’s located on the ground floor of the Student Union Building, in close proximity to VUWSA and the VBC 88.3FM. VUWSA microwaves and student computers are located at this café.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

Galleria, Barista Café

Located on the Mezzanine Floor in the Maclaurin Building (overlooking the Quad), Galleria serves up some of the best coffee on campus, along with tasty bagels and other yummy treats.

Pizzeria

Cheap and quick pizza, located in the Kelburn Quad.

Quad Kiosk

Located on the Easterfield side of the Kelburn Quad

Premise Bar and Café

Premise is the University’s bar and café for University staff and postgraduate students. Located in the Kelburn library, Premise is open for lunch, coffee, and snacks throughout the day. It also serves alcoholic beverages.

Illott Café

Illott is located on the 3rd Floor of Kirk Building, and offers hot food, snacks and coffee.

Uni Stop

Sandwiches, muffins, hot food, magazines, coffee, cigarettes, toiletries and grocery items. Located in the Easterfield Building, Kelburn Parade (near the bus stop).

Café Salem

For good coffee (if you’ve got the time to wait for it), swing by 8 Kelburn Parade.

Te Herenga Waka Marae

The Marae staff at 46 Kelburn Parade serve up super cheap lunches every week, Monday through Thursday.
