Youth Justice Forum

‘JustUs’ is the story of two brothers aged 16 and 17 who commit an offence together. In our current justice system youth are tried in the adult court from 17 years old. The story follows the differences of the brothers' treatment in the justice system as one is tried in the Youth Court and the other goes through the adult District Court. Following the show there will be a speaker panel and community forum consisting of Dr Nessa Lynch, from Victoria University's Faculty of Law and Professor Chris Gallavin, from Massey University.
