VUWSA affiliated clubs and Representative Groups can hire the VUWSA barbeque throughout the year. It costs $5 to book the barbeque for up to 2 hours use, which covers gas. Bookings are made on a first come-first served basis, so book early to avoid missing out.

How do I book the VUWSA BBQ?

Before you book the barbeque, you will need to ensure that you have also booked a space in the Quad with Campus Operations (located at 6 Wai-Te-Ata Road, Kelburn). Groups who do not have consent from Campus Operations will be unable to use the barbeque.

You can submit your request by dropping the booking form to VUWSA’s Kelburn Office, or scan and email to VUWSA.

Cleaning the BBQ

The group that hire the barbeque must clean the barbeque before it is returned. If it is not returned clean, a charge will be incurred (see Terms & Conditions on the booking form for more information).
