Free Bus Passes
Bus Passes
VUWSA and VUW are proud to partner and present the 2012 intercampus Free Bus Pass initiative.
If you have two classes at different campuses on the same day, we will load 10 free bus trips onto your Snapper card.
What specific criteria do I have to meet in order to receive a Free Bus Pass?
If you are an Undergraduate student:
You will need to log on to Student Records on MyVictoria and print off and present the following documentation each time you require a free 10 trip bus pass.
- Current study timetable which shows what classes you are doing, at which campus, on what days for whatever the current trimester is.
- Your tutorial listing. This can be found under S-Cubed under My Signups. Like the study timetable, this tutorial listing will indicate what days your tutorials along with their venues and times.
- Your Student ID.
You are only entitled to a free 10 trip bus pass if you produce the above document(s) and have classes or tutorials at two different campuses on the same day. If you have classes or tutorials on separate days, you are not eligible for a free 10 trip bus pass.

If you are a Postgraduate student:
To be eligible for a free 10 trip bus pass, postgraduate students must produce a letter, written by your supervisor on Victoria University letterhead, stating your name, student ID number and that you require a bus ticket in order to travel between campuses for research purposes. The supervisor must sign the letter with their name typed underneath. All letters presented must be dated within the current trimester.
