Nominations for the 2019 Blues Awards have closed

In 2019 the Victoria Sports Awards will be added to the Blues Awards programme to provide a platform for the University to celebrate our sporting clubs, and includes the addition of the Sports Club of the Year and Coach of the Year.

The criteria for Blues Awards nominees can be found here.
The criteria for Sports Awards nominees can be found here.

To be eligible for a Victoria Blue or Sports Award:
- Every nominee needs to be a student at, or have graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in the 2018 Academic Year.
- Have met the current minimum standards set by the Victoria Blues Panel.

Please complete the form below to complete your nomination. We also require:

- A Letter of selection/endorsement of achievements in sport.
- Two photos: 1 action, 1 headshot (and video in action if possible). Clubs - please send in a group/team photo.

PSA: The Southern elevators in the Kelburn Library now actually work‼️ It’s been almost 3 years since the elevators in the Kelburn Library pooped themselves after the Kaikoura earthquake. It’s been a tough few years of stair climbing in order to reach the oasis of the upper blue zones not to mention an accessibility nightmare.
As of last week they are up and running again 🙌 For some it will be a new experience, for others a throwback to less sweatier times 💦

Enjoy! (And if able to, keep up the good energy saving and exercise by using stairs if only travelling 1 or 2 floors 😎)

This is a friendly reminder that our Kelburn Reception now has reduced hours over summer! ☀️⏰ You can come see us between 10am-1pm, Mon-Fri. Our Pip office is closed up until mid-Feb.
We’ll also be taking a little break over Christmas: closing from the 16th of December and reopening on the 6th of January 2020 🎄📆
