An Indian cultural club for people of all ethnic backgrounds. Anyone with an interest in learning about Indian traditions and the way of life is welcome.
“Culture is the widening of the mind and of the spirit.” —Jawaharlal Nehru (Indian Prime Minister 1889-1964)
IMC aims at achieving just that!
IMC presents a great opportunity to learn more about India: its rich and varied heritage, its many languages, religions and festivals, as well as to get a taste of the delicious cuisine from North and South India, all while simultaneously gaining a deeper understanding and exposure to everything Indian.
Yes, this includes the Bollywood dance and Indian dress-up night!
Joining IMC is also a great way for international business students and international marketing students to explore the cultural aspects and dimensions of the Indian sub-continent and indulge in interacting on an informal basis with people of all different cultures.
This club is free to join for all Victoria University students and there is a one-time $5 subscription fee for everyone else. There are no age restrictions and people from all ethnic backgrounds are welcome to join.
