VUWSA Elections

Each year, VUW students have the opportunity to stand for a position on the VUWSA Executive. Whether you've got some great sustainability ideas, want to help out with OWeek, or think you're ready to take on the President's job, we welcome anyone who wishes to nominate themselves for a position.

You can print off a nomination form here. 

Nominations for the 2019 Executive are now open. Nominations will close on Friday 14 September at 4pm. 

The nomination form, along with any supporting information can be scanned and emailed to returning.officer@vuwsa.org.nz OR you can drop them off at the VUWSA Kelburn office, on Level 4 of the Student Union Building.

There's so much that goes into being part of the VUWSA executive including the fun stuff like VUWSA-run events, debates and forums, and the not so dynamic board and committee meetings discussing the really serious uni stuff. So you know just what you're signing up for make sure you check out the requirements of the position you're interested in.

Make sure you vote for the executive you want representing you in 2019! 

Keep an eye out on the VUWSA Facebook page it will  be your main source of info on who the candidates will be and what they stand for. Then it's up to you to elect who you want to represent your interests to the university and local and national governments for 2019. 

Voting will open from 9am on Monday 24 September. Voting closes at 4pm on Thursday 27 September. Results will be announced on the VUWSA Facebook and Instagram accounts, and posted on the VUWSA Noticeboard outside the VUWSA Kelburn offices on Thursday 27 September, after voting has finished.
