#itooamvic is a weekly video-series that celebrates and embraces the diversity that exists within our student community here at Victoria.
VUWSA is in the interest of building a more diverse educational environment, promote an inclusive community, and enhance cultural understanding. #itooamvic is a student-led initiative that aims to foster awareness and celebrate who are we as people.
We want every student to be proud of what makes them, them!
Through #itooamvic we strive to:
Encourage collaboration and communication among different areas within the student community.
Empower and mobilise our community to bring awareness to issues that are impacting them.
Provide a platform for minority voices to be heard.
Build a stronger sense of belonging for all students, faculty and workers of the university.
Create an open cross-racial dialogue through discussion of issues that are affecting different representative groups.
